The principals of Mar Ventures, Inc. and Canyon Development of Beverly Hills established the Mar Canyon Real Estate Value Fund to acquire performing and underperforming real estate assets from owners and lenders. The principals are investors and have acted as developers, asset managers, investors, and financiers for all types of real estate. They have owned and developed over 6 million SF of property.
The fund targets individual assets or pools of assets for long term investment or opportunistic resale. The principals' development expertise facilitates underwriting these acquisitions and other value added opportunities.
The fund co-invests and acts as general partner in ventures with institutions and opportunity funds. The fund offers local market knowledge along with long standing relationships with local brokers, banks, and institutional owners.
