Key Personnel

Allan Mackenzie
President

Allan Mackenzie is the President and sole shareholder of MVI. As President, he oversees the day to day activities of the company, and directs MVI's long term business strategy. A particular feature of his leadership is a determination to preserve an intense hands-on management of the company's projects, to best serve the needs of MVI's public and private customers.

After emigrating from the UK to Vancouver, BC, Allan worked with a real estate consulting and development company, LPI Corporation, ultimately opening an office in San Diego, and led his company's development of office and research and development projects in the Southern California marketplace.

Allan holds a Master's degree in Land Economy from Cambridge University in the UK. He is active in area wide community development, and has played a leadership role in numerous community and industry organizations. Allan is a licensed general contractor in the State of California.


Bill Messori
Senior Vice President

Bill Messori serves as a Senior Vice President, responsible for development and construction management services. Bill joined MVI in September 2000 from Hughes Electronics Corporation, where he was the Senior Real Estate Manager with responsibility for a worldwide portfolio in excess of 55 million square feet. At MVI, he was most recently responsible for the successful development of The Edge at Campus El Segundo, a 215,000 square foot business/retail park and for the 33,000 square foot office/medical Military Entrance Processing Center.

Bill received a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science degree from USC along with a Certificate in Executive Management from the Claremont Graduate University. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California.


Wendy Mantikas
Controller, Broker/Officer

Wendy Mantikas, MVI's Controller, has been with the company for 15 years. With a BS in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting from California State University, Long Beach, CMA certification, tax and audit training, a California RE Brokers license and currently pursuing her CCIM certification, Wendy is a chronic student. Other educational interests include holistic nutrition and natural health.

Wendy has expertise in all areas of RE accounting and operations from her current and prior positions including several years in both public accounting and the mortgage industry and is a highly-valued member of the MVI team.


Lionel Uhry
Director of Acquisitions

Lionel Uhry joined MVI in 2006 and is the Director of Acquisitions for MVI's investment fund and development activities. As Director of Acquisitions Lionel oversees and directs the origination, underwriting, financing, and closing activities of acquisitions and dispositions aimed at maximizing returns for MVI and its investors.

Lionel earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He also holds a Professional Certification in Construction Management from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a certified LEED AP.


Sarah Chionis
Senior Property Manager

As Senior Property Manager, Sarah Chionis oversees the property management staff in the day-to-day operations of the portfolio as needed, and interfaces with Owners on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and quality of services. Sarah joined MVI in 2004, and has managed 1.2M SF of commercial space for MVI including the management of portfolios for Raytheon and Toyota.

Sarah is currently the Chair for the BOMA South Bay/Long Beach Regional Council. She continues to expand her knowledge in the field of asset management through outside educational offerings and holds RPA and FMA Designations.


Deanna Serritella
Accounting Manager

Deanna Serritella has held the position of Accounting Manager with Mar Ventures, Inc. for over 6 years. She is responsible for the day to day oversight of all accounting transactions and financial reports produced for ownership of its development and property management entities. Her past work experience includes accounting management positions held in retail, restaurant, and property management industries.

Deanna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. She furthered her Accounting studies in the extension program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
